Best program I've ever known. I learned years ago that writing down what you eat was important to controlling your weight. Although I don't do that, I feel that seeing and having your weight recorded daily (or as often as you desire) is VERY important. Everyone has ups and downs in their weight loss endeavor, and seeing the ups along with the downs is proof that you can succeed, regardless. Seeing the record of your weight loss is one of the best plans in the world. I always felt so accomplished when I could see that regardless of the pitfalls, I was making progress. I could see it in such a tangible and logical way. I also loved Michael's comments and suggestions on foods and other weight related issues.
As with so many who are commenting, I've used and loved Weight Commander for more than 10 years, so it's been sad and frustrating that it hasn't been back in business as quickly as with past glitches. (If it ever does return, I plan to print out my entire weight history just in case.) In the meantime, I've found and have been using another free site, WeightChart.com -- and I'm liking it a lot.
My mom bought me this years ago and I had to rebuy it a few years ago after my email was hacked n lost. Last I heard a few weeks ago they are working on getting it back up and running again. Been using since 2014 and it helps so much. Praying it gets back up soon.
I sure hope Michael can get some help to get the app back up and running. Apparently there are some problems with newly introduced infrastructure and the existing code does not communicate with it properly. You know technology! Always changing! I really enjoyed using WeightCommander for many years! It was great to review my progress or lack thereof and make corrections and changes - I've lost and gained weight but the last time was the best and I've maintained for over 5 years. I really depended on WeightCommander to track my progress and help me when I needed to make changes.
I have also used this program for more than a decade and have loved the simplicity of it and the history. Hoping it comes back up soon and is usable again.
